Diving the Big Sur coast can be wild, rugged and thrilling to say the least and this is one trip that should be on your bucket list! If you have driven down the Big Sur coast and wondered what beauty lies under the surface and thought “If only I could get down there with my dive gear” than you are not alone and you should join Channel Islands Diver Adventures for our 1/2 charter aboard the Vision. The Vision will be docked in Morro Bay for several weeks while they make single day and multi-day runs up the coast. This trip is a 3 day trip on June 23-25, 2017 (Fri/Sun.) and will be awesome!
Multi-day trips are always great and actually a much better value than going on single day trips. Why? Because you get more dives in without being rushed and get the chance to get to sites that are hard to get to on a single day trip which is why this trip to Big Sur is a great value.
The Big Sur coast has some of the most rugged areas and miles of coastal line that is just about non-accessible. There are a few places like Jade Cove, Partington Cove, Lime Kiln and a few others that you can dive from shore but I can tell you from experience it is a work out so why not make it easy and join CIDA on this easier way to see the Big Sur coastline.
Truth Aquatics has been doing this trip for a number of years now and are the only ones that run trips like this. There are no harbors or marinas between Morro Bay and Montery but there is lots of EXCELLENT diving between them and lots to still explore along the way. The Vision has some favorite areas but depending on weather they always try and check out some new ones. If you are part of that special group of divers that likes to see and dive some cool and unique areas and not just the same old thing than you must be a Channel Islands Dive Adventures type of diver and this trip is for you!
