The Antelope Valley Desert Divers (AVDD) was founded in 1970 and is one of the oldest dive clubs in Southern California. AVDD is the only club serving the Palmdale, Lancaster area and has some members that have been diving together since the 1950’s and have great stories and experiences to share. Members enjoy many benefits, including discounts on dive boat charters, equipment purchases and rentals, just to name a few. They also have annual clean-up dives and campouts. Come out and join them at an event such as a club meeting, fun dive, cleanup dive, or campout. Checkout their calender for all there upcoming trips and events. One of the big events for the AVDD is their annual June Lake cleanup and campout.
Join the Antelope Valley Desert Divers at their next monthly meeting for fun, entertainment, raffle and a guest speaker. They meet the Second Monday of the month unless there is a holiday conflict at the Palmdale Cultural Center located at 38350 Sierra Highway in Palmdale at the corner of Palmdale Blvd. and Sierra Highway-Map. Social Hour starts at 6:30, Meeting and entertainment at 7:00.
