Trip Highlights

Naples Reef is a large and very diverse area. It has lots of great underwater terrain and is only about 60’ at the deepest. It has lots of kelp, fish and marine life and that is why UCSB uses it as a study site. Naples Reef can be better then some sites at the islands plus it is much closer. After Naples we will dive the old oil piers along the Santa Barbara coast where the Ritz-Carlton Bacara is now located.
