This trip is best suited for
Experienced OW divers and above and a great choice for divers wanting to sharpen their diving skills for more advanced trips. The dive sites visited have something for everyone. Dive sites are to be determined by “BEST CONDITIONS” based on water visibility, tides, current, surge, swell and wind. Good buoyancy control and surface signal tubes are always recommended
There are many excellent dive sites around Santa Barbara Island. The main reason most divers like to go there is because of the seals and sea lions at the Rookery, off the island’s southeast side. They can be fun to watch spinning and twirling just like acrobats. Santa Barbara Island also has some very beautiful shallow and deep reefs lush with kelp and underwater arches. Some of the really good sites are Sea Lion Wall, Sutil Island, Shag Rock, Webster’s point plus many more. There is much to see and do for the photographer, sightseer and hunter so why not come out and join us!
Santa Cruz Island also has some excellent diving and depending on weather we could dive the front side or the back side of the island. Either way there will be plenty of good sites for us to dive while enjoying the last day of our trip. On this trip we will have Guest Photographer Brent Durand joining us to give free tips and suggestions for those who ask. Read more about Brent HERE.
The Truth is the original Truth Aquatics boat, and thanks to regular updates and maintenance it remains a world-class liveaboard diving and excursion vessel. It is an ideal entry level boat for smaller charters and groups of friends. Read more about the Truth HERE.
