Channel Islands Dive Adventures Policies & Documents
Sometimes things happen! If you are planning to join us on one of our local California trips or maybe a longer Dive Vacation and need to cancel, please see our cancellation policies below.
We are so lucky because the ocean for most of us is relatively close and with the diversity of marine life, the islands, the weather, and the warm/cold water currents mixing we can have ideal diving, but not every day, hour, or minute will be ideal.
No matter where you live or dive the weather and sea conditions can change very quickly and because of this Channel Islands Dive Adventures highly recommends having a safety signal tube on every dive, dive accident insurance such as; DiveAssure or DAN (Divers Alert Network) and up to date on any training, you may need.
Below are the Channel Islands Dive Adventures cancellation policies, waivers, and scuba-related documents.

Scuba Vacation Trips
All deposits and payments are non-refundable and trip insurance is highly recommended!
Channel Islands Dive Adventures urges you to consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip. To maintain our reasonable rate & high level of service, we do not automatically insure your trip against the adverse effects of weather or other factors that are beyond our control. Your vacation represents a very large investment, and unforeseen circumstances such as injury or sickness, airline issues, and family emergencies can easily affect your ability to travel. Get all the info needed to sign up for DAN or DiveAssure here!
Weather Policy
All destinations are subject to change depending on the weather and sea conditions. The dive boats can usually make the trips in any kind of weather, rain or shine. Sometimes the weather may not look so good, but most times there are still places to dive. The Captain of the boat being used for a particular trip has the final decision, with concern in providing for the safety and well-being of the passengers and crew aboard. If the Captain or Channel Islands Dive Adventures cancels a trip, then refunds will be given. Never consider a trip canceled until advised by the Captain or Channel Islands Dive Adventures.
